Drama Digest
Ji Yan Xin, is a cold and arrogant professor, a young cartoonist intentionally gets near him. A straightforward girl, Qi Nian, hopes that interacting with Ji Yan Xin would give her inspirational and creative ideas for the comic story. But Ji Yan Xin’s brother becomes Qi Nian’s assistant and a catalyst for their relationship to headway.

The simplicity of the story is it’s greatest strength. The music was a perfect match for the drama. The problems are solved quickly, they are not complicated.

The drama’s tempo felt disturbed. The plot is not much developed as it mainly focuses on romance. The show lacked in displaying the main couple’s relationship.

This drama is an adaptation of the novel “I really want to be with you” written by Bei Qing. The female lead is sincere from the beginning to the end. The storyline revolves around a female lead being an anime artist. She is forced to draw a fangirl anime. She does not have expertise in romance. She was instructed to find someone that would compel her heart beat faster. When the male leads’ dog Qi Bao runs up to her, that was the first time he encountered the male lead. The male lead is an intelligent, and blunt professor. The female lead becomes his assistant and the letter falls for him. The make and his brother are on awful phrases. The main couple is about the young women and a older man, and they had a good chemistry. The second couple was opposite of the main leads it was a young man and a older women. The side characters also get their romantic part. The storyline is simple and not complicated. Though the plot is simple but the story is not. The second lead couple carried the show. The characters in this drama are written amazingly. There were many unfinished scenes like JYX sleeping disorder is not explained. Li Yin’s relation with JYX. This drama portrays how pure love can be. It is a light drama, and a lot of scenes have fascinating smiles. Overall the story is engaging. Qi Nian and Yan Xin were a perfect couple. The male lead is anxious, and he, had a cute relationship with Qi Nian. Qi Nian was an ideal fit as he wanted a kind and caring girlfriend. The female lead’s character was lively.
Star Power
The actors did their roles with perfection. The side characters were also written and played well. The acting place is used satisfactorily. The hand gestures, undulating voices, facial expressions were all on point.

The plot is interesting and refreshing. It is alight drama to watch when you are bored. The drama is entertaining with no excessive angst.
