Since the beginning of fourth-generation groups, K-Pop music has grown in popularity. From around 2018 and continuing to this day, these talented and charismatic girls stepped into the spotlight of the K-Pop music industry, winning over the adoration of millions of fans worldwide. In this article, we will focus on the top ten K-Pop female groups of the fourth generation that have had a significant impact on this competitive industry.

1. (G)-IDLE

Girl group (G)I-DLE was formed by Cube Entertainment. There are five individuals in the group: Minnie, Yuqi, Miyeon, Shuhua, and Soyeon. In 2018, they made their debut with the song "Latata." They got popular in 2020 due to their huge hit single album, "Dumdi Dumdi." Other than that, their major hits are "Tomboy" and "Dahlia."

2. ITZY

Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna are members of the girl group Itzy, which is signed under JYP Entertainment. Itzy created history in 2019 when it released the album "It'z Different" and became the first girl group in K-pop to complete the "Rookie Grand Slam." ITZY never fails to amaze their audience with their exciting shows.

3. New Jeans

New Jeans is a girl group under the ADOR label. Hanni, Hyein, Haerin, Minji, and Danielle make up the group's five members. With their single Attention, New Jeans made their debut in 2022. OMG, released in 2023, was a huge commercial hit. New Jeans also won several rookie awards.

4. STAYC

The STAYC group is a part of High Up Entertainment. The acronym for their group is "Star to a Young Culture." The following individuals make up the group: Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J. With the release of the album "Star To A Young Culture" in 2020, they made their debut. With each comeback, they showcase their versatility and surprise fans with their ever-changing performances.

5. IVE

The Starship Entertainment Company forms the IVE Group. There are six members in the group: Wonyoung, Liz, Gaeul, Yujin, Rei, and Leeseo. In 2021, they released their first album, "Eleven," marking their start. "Love Dive" has been the band's one of the biggest hits. (G)I-DLE may be a newcomer to the K-pop world, but they have already made significant achievements.

6.  LE SSERAFIM

Five members make up the group LE SSERAFIM, which was created by Source Music and HYBE. They are Sakura, Kim Chae-won, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-Chae. "ANTIFRAGILE" is their most popular song to date. LE SSERAFIM made its debut in 2022 with the release of FEARLESS.

7. NMIXX

Kyujin, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Lily are the members of the group NMIXX. With the release of the album "Ad Mare," they made their debut.  Their song "O.O." attracted a lot of views as well as criticism. NMIXX overcame the difficulties of being a fourth-generation group to succeed and position themselves as champions of their generation.

8. Aespa

Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning are members of the SM Entertainment group Aespa. In 2020, they released "Black Mamba" as their first single. They were able to win over MYs (MY- Aespa's official fans) with their outstanding talent, gorgeous aesthetics, and AI-themed stories.

9. Kep1er

Kim Chae-hyun, Huening Bahiyyih, Choi Yu-jin, Kim Da-yeon, Seo Young-Eun, Kang Ye-seo, Hikaru Ezaki, Mashiro Sakamoto, and Shen Xiaoting make up the group known as Kep1er. With the publication of the EP First Impact in 2022, they made their debut. "WA DA DA" is their most successful single to date.

10. Purple Kiss

RWB formed the group Purple Kiss, which consists of Na Go-eun, Dosie, Ireh, Yuki, Chaein, and Swan. In 2021, Purple Kiss released its first EP, titled Into Violet. One of the biggest hits from their 2021 single is "Zombie."
