The South Korean Entertainment industry is one of the biggest entertainment industries in Asia. Every year multiple films are produced in all different entertainment industries,  South Korea is no different, South Korean entertainment industry too produces many films every and if the films are worthy, the film gets awarded with multiple accolades. Awards are presented every year for the deserving film. South Korea Has produced some of the most brilliant films of all time, and the audience has recognized and appreciated these films. South Korean films have won some of the most prestigious awards for their brilliant films which deserve global attention and rightfully so.

1. A Taxi Driver

This film is based on real-life, revolving around 1980 when a taxi driver became involved in the Gwangju Uprising events. This film was critically acclaimed and did excellent business at the box office. A Taxi Driver went on to collect some very prestigious awards including the 38th Blue Dragon Film Awards. The Throne was the South Korean film to officially enter for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards though it wasn't nominated.
