Variety shows rule the Japanese television landscape. Many have well-known hosts or panels of up-and-coming actors, singers, or the generically termed "talento." However, at least one comedian will always be there. Despite the fact that comedians normally travel in groups of two or three, they can be seen alone on television in almost any setting. 4. Ishibashi Takaaki
Takaaki Ishibashi is a singer, actor, and owarai artist from Japan. With his partner Noritake Kinashi, he is most known as a member of Tunnels and Yaen.
5. Uchimura Teruyoshi
Teruyoshi Uchimura is one of the most prominent and influential comedians in the owarai community. He is half of the Japanese comedy duo Utchan Nanchan. His companion, Kiyotaka Nanbara, is known as Nanchan, and his nickname is Utchan. In Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto, he was born on July 22, 1964.
6. Nanbara Kiyotaka
Kiyotaka Nanbara is a comedian and television host from Japan. He is the boke of the manzai combo Utchan Nanchan, which also includes Teruyoshi Uchimura.
7. Terakado Jimon
Jimon Terakado is the stage name of Yoshito Terakado, a Japanese comedian who is represented by Ohta Production. He is a member of the Dachou Club comedic trio. He is well-known for his passion for cuisine, particularly beef, and frequently appears on gourmet television shows.
8. Higo Katsuhiro

Ryhei Ueshima was a Japanese actor and comedian. He was a part of the Dach Club comedic trio. Ueshima was a member of the Dacho Club and has participated on a number of variety shows. His body was discovered hanging at his residence in Tokyo's Nakano Ward on May 11, 2022. He was taken to the hospital, where his death was confirmed.
10. Yabe Hiroyuki
Ninety-nine is a Japanese comedic team from Osaka that work for the Yoshimoto Kogyo entertainment conglomerate. Takashi Okamura as boke (stooge) and Hiroyuki Yabe as tsukkomi (straightman) created the duo (kombi) in 1990.
