The Feel-Good Part

This anime has an interesting story. This is an altered history of space travel with a hint of fantasy. It takes place during the 1960s. This makes it unique and entertaining.

The Disappointing Factor

The characters and world design do not overlap with the narrative. This anime is not up to par compared to other space anime. This show has no romance aspect, which would’ve made it more interesting.

In-Depth Analysis

This is a pseudo-reality story about two people bonding over their love for space. It has an entertaining Tsundere vampire girl. The setting of the ’60s makes it interesting. The soundtrack is delightful. It keeps us hooked till the end. The vampire part is not highlighted much. They portrayed vampires as an oppressed race. The romance is slow-burn to the point that it doesn’t look like romance. They ruined the anime by playing it safe. This story has some minor plot holes, but apart from them, it is an entertaining anime.

Star Power

Hayashibara Megumi, Uchiyama Kouki, and other supporting actors did an excellent job portraying their characters.

Overall Opinion

Overall, this is a great sci-fi story. It has more potential, but they played it safe. It is good, but there is nothing catchy. Laika and Lev’s duo is adorable. It is a decent anime and is worth watching.
