Drama Digest

The world’s finest assassin dies miserably. He is betrayed by those he worked for all his life. He is gifted with a chance to reincarnate into a fantasy world by the goddess, but he needs to kill that world’s hero in return. The story continues as Lugh Tuatha De, the heir of an assassin family in the kingdom of Alvan, plans the assassination of the hero.

The Feel-Good Part

This story is very entertaining. The concept of what happens when someone is overpowered is pretty unique and exciting. The art is excellent.

The Disappointing Factor

His new life doesn’t resemble his past life at all. Some episodes are fun, while some lack content. It is dumb how the girls blindly follow, and it doesn’t portray emotions well.

In-Depth Analysis

Regarding the story, the title says it all. A middle-aged assassin known as his world’s best, dies, reincarnates into a fantasy world, and builds a harem on his way to kill the hero. The first few episodes are entertaining, but later on, this show feels dragged and dull. It is similar to many anime where the lead builds a harem along his way. The only difference would be the ML reincarnating. The main lead reincarnates into a fantasy world to kill the hero who saves the world. This concept is unique. The action is good but not impressive.

Star Power

Akabane Kenji did an excellent job as Lugh. Another noticeable voice-over is Tamura Yukari, who gave the voice-over for the goddess character. I found her voice playful and fun.

Overall Opinion

Overall, this is a good anime with a unique story. The first few episodes are entertaining, and the remaining episodes have more potential, which is not reached. Despite a few flaws, it is worth watching.
