Drama Digest

The ancient human saviors established a village as their shelter long ago, and it is supposed that their descendants still support humanity in times of great chaos. This town, Kunlun, is close to the mythical “Last Dungeon,” which is home to monstrous creatures of incredible power and where Kunlun citizens go hunting. Lloyd is a rookie explorer who, despite growing up with neighbors who always thought he was weak, has the ambition to find “real strength” in the city he has long adored. He leaves his hometown at the beginning of the narrative, which happens to be next to one of the world’s most hazardous dungeons. Lloyd Belladonna considers himself the weakest in his town in terms of magic, strength, and intelligence despite having grown up overcoming formidable foes. However, to accomplish his dream of becoming a soldier, he travels to the Kingdom of Azami to enlist in its military college. Nevertheless, Lloyd’s inner strength might be the solution to ending the crises engulfing the kingdom as someone whose upbringing defies logic!

The Feel-Good Part

It is very entertaining and hilarious. The characters have many appeals. Unlike intensely action-packed television anime series, it features good adventurous scenes and good fights.

The Disappointing Factor

The storyline is very clumsy. The pace of the story is fast. The animation is also not that good. The character development is not appropriate.

In-Depth Analysis

On October 19, 2019, a live webcast for the “GA Fes 2019” occasion featured the announcement of an anime television series adaptation. The characters have created by Makoto Iino, Deko Akao, and Michiru. The soundtrack for the series was composed by Michiru. The anime was animated by Liden Films and directed by Migmi. The show was initially supposed to release in October 2020, but due to a delay, it didn’t air until January 4 through March 22, 2021. The opening theme song is Haruka Yamazaki’s “Suppose It’s the Magic of Courage,” and the closing theme song is Luce Twinkle Wink’s “Is It Possible?” Funimation purchased the rights to the show and made it available for streaming in North America, the British Isles, Mexico, and Brazil on their website, in Europe on Wakanim, and in Australia and New Zealand on AnimeLab. The series was transferred to Crunchyroll after Sony bought Crunchyroll. Muse Communication obtained the rights to the series and aired it throughout South and Southeast Asia on Bilibili and its Muse Asia YouTube channel.

Star Power

In charge of directing the anime series, Migmi accomplished a fantastic job. The entire cast of this Japanese television anime series put in more effort and helped one another.

Overall Opinion

It is an adventurous and enjoyable Japanese television anime series. The audience will get entertained and captivated by the comedy and adventurous scenes in the anime series. It is worthwhile to watch this anime at leisure.
