Drama Digest

It is a Japanese science fiction Amazon movie directed by Hideaki Anno. It is the fourth movie of the Evangelion film series. Shinji Ikari lost his will to live. He gets back his hope to leave when he arrived at a place. It is a story of healing and growing. Best ending story for a 26-year-long delayed series. The movie is one of the most awaited animation films. It successfully satisfied fan needs. A project was set in motion and Shinji has to make a last stand to avoid a final impact. The earlier Neon Genesis can make you feel like there exists a hidden actual world under the surface. Everything is connected and all the confusion is solved in this ending movie. You can connect all the pieces. The movie explains everything through Gendo (Shinji’s father) thereby suspending every doubt and confusion. Movie includes elements of surprise, excitement, curiosity as well as mystery.

The Feel-Good Part

Evangelion movie series have made their comeback incredibly. Greatest production and striking animation with a perfect ending. It is worth the wait for fans. It did an excellent job of recreating the original story. Spectacular presentation and a wonderful storyline. It provides great closure to every character.

The Disappointing Factor

Some of the scenes of Jorgan may be a bit disappointing. The explicit explanation given by Shinji’s father may result in some doubts. Eva’s battles are a bit long and confusing. Fight scenes look unreal.

In-Depth Analysis

Shinji triggered accidentally Cataclymsic Near Third event that contaminated the whole earth. Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time reintroduces central conflict. It has an excellent opening scene. The first hour of the movie shows the throwback scenes of the original version, which shows us the lives of people after Near Third Impact, which rebuilds the communities and tries to purify the planet. It also deals with Eva’s roaming around and a giant moon floating above Tokyo. This movie has the best animation and direction. This first hour leads the trio towards the path of healing. Even though the film lacks the action scenes as expected, it brings out incredible and impressive visuals. The world has moved on, while Shinji and others are still struggling to find their purpose. Metaphorically, Evangelion is a story that ‘repeats’. It refers to the existence of ‘rebuild’. The film extends and includes the characters that were limited just to the background. Shinji’s father is presented as a bad influence and worst. Even he has more screen time. The  Father-son combo has more scenes. It contains stellar, mystical, sci-fi and aggressive elements that contribute to its uniqueness.

 Star Power

Every character is amazing. The incredible production team and amazing direction. The team was able to give the fans what they expected and deserved. It has the best heart-arming ending.

 Overall Opinion

Best movie with the best visuals. Great animation. Nice storyline. Highly recommended to those who love animation thriller movies. It doesn’t contain expected action scenes. But it is the best option if you are an Evangelion series fan.
