Drama digest
Oh, to be a strong woman in a cruel world, the struggle is real. If you feel the same, then yeah, you are in the right place here to present Liu Lian’s story. A brave character who fights like a great warrior all by herself. This story focuses on the woman empowering her life in her way without any filter. Liu Lian is a 30-year-old unmarried woman, she simply enjoys her own company like a free spirit, but her mom, as usual, always talks about her marriage. Then suddenly, Liu Lian’s mother passes out, which leaves our tough lady unsure about how she’ll cope with this fact, with all the pain, however, she decides to go on a vacation. She does her best to approach her life with sarcasm, but in reality, all she’s seeking is her mother’s presence.
The feel-good part
Apart from being the saddest story, there’s a lot of comedy in the drama. Drama has a fun side. You get a chance to giggle out again and again. A lot of thought-provoking scenes are also shown, which makes it more of a moral value, and we like that.

In-Depth analysis
The story is brilliantly presented. It’s all about the time where one just can’t relate to the situation but still chooses to deal with it and try a possible way instead of crying out; it’s an excellent concept. You could say real-world problems have been shown. Liu Luan might not be the perfect woman, but she’s on the path of exploring her more real and lovable side. If you observe you could make out that there’s a lot of effort had been put into Liu Luan character even her name represents the meaning “resist to be part with someone” just like that Liu Lian is representing herself, she has her own will to protect herself from anything, she might be hard strong as coconut, but once someone put effort on her trying to know her, she comes out as the soft enough. In general, one could also relate it very well. In addition, if you are well known for the British show Fleabag, you would find this drama as a Chinese version of that show. Conceptually it is the same as Fleabag but in the most entertaining Chinese drama way. Moreover, it’s fun to watch Liu Luan’s story.
Star power
Self-love is showered, comedy exceptionally, and yes, most importantly, there’s no stereotypical character with the most enormous star power of the drama. We support such theater. Kudos to them.
Overall opinion
If you are in your 20s or somewhere around your 30s, you will find it more relatable and enjoyable. The struggling stage, the responsibilities carrying as an individual, is you all will relate. Ten on ten recommendations to watch this drama. You could see how the main character is trying to learn that she can’t control her life, but she can experience it in all possible ways, and she believes in the person she’s becoming in the end. It’s less drama, more morals with fun and you will love it. Watch it and have fun.
