Drama Digest

Lee Ro Woon is an average retail investor in need of money for his upcoming wedding. After hearing advice from a financial planner, he enters the dangerous world of coins. The show depicts him going through reckless challenges, failures, and obstacles after losing his savings. He learns and transforms himself into a financial adviser to get his money back so he can buy his own house. Shim Seul Gi is the soon-to-be bride of Ro Woon, who is an office worker with a fun, vibrant, and happy-go-lucky personality wanting the perfect and happy wedding of her dreams.

The Feel-Good Part

The portrayal of a guy losing all his money in bitcoins is a genuine and realistic plot. The show does a great job of presenting the risks and dangers of cryptocurrency if not planned or learned adequately. The show has a realistic representation of wedding arrangements, requirements, and costs to a standard person. The show is fast-paced, and the actors did an incredible job in their respective characters. The execution is a bit unrealistic, yet it maintains funny, insane, and loony comedy themes. Even though it has a short running time, it managed to pull through the plot amazingly.

The Disappointing Factor

The female lead does not have much of a character arc and is a bit clichéd in the beginning episodes. The plot felt more focused on comedy aspects rather than romantic or thrilling plotlines. It needed more creative plotlines and a different directing style that might keep viewers more involved. The chemistry between the lead couple was lacking as well.

In-Depth Analysis

The show portrays a story of a guy wanting to live happily with his soon-to-be wife in their own house, but because of financial problems, he does not seem to be managing the wedding requirements properly. So after listening to his friend, he decides to buy some crypto coins, but soon he suffers a high loss because of it. To get his money again, he goes through a lot of trouble and difficulties and tries every option available to satisfy the bridal needs and his own. He learns about investment from the basics and tries to earn profits. It depicts all the contemplations of investment in cryptocurrencies and the average earners’ life problems in a comical way.

Star Power

Min Chan Ki plays the male protagonist, Lee Ro Woon, and Park Eun Woo plays the female lead named Shim Seul Gi in this show. It is a good enough series from a web series point of view that has a satisfying ending.

Overall Opinion

The show has an average plot with some entertaining factors. That is also easy to binge in a day. The everyday problems of financially broke people got portrayed through the show. This show will be relatable for everyone who is hustling in their lives to attain their luxurious requirements.
