Drama Digest

This Japanese drama is about a young female writer named Imachi Jun and how she travels to multiple places due to some reasons. The female lead is a writer by profession and has earned a lot of recognition following her debut novel. As much as stardom she’s received, it has been enough for her. These places carry a vibe that she’s yearned for and has never experienced before. This is her story of meeting varied people on this little journey of hers.

The Feel-Good Part

The series actually takes us to various places through the eyes of the protagonists. The female lead visits a lot of places between Osaka and Kyoto and embraces the local culture of those places. All of it is so stunning to watch and makes the audience feel like they are experiencing it themselves. The development of the relationships between all the characters was beautiful. The scenic view of all the venues portrayed in the drama is mind-blowing. The drama also incorporates the use of Kanji characters (Japanese characters mixed with the strokes of Chinese characters). The story remained subtle throughout, with only hints of romance, and did not go for the mainstream thing.

The Disappointing Factor

No sort of disappointment was experienced while watching the drama.
