Drama Digest
“Onna no Sensou: Bachelor Satsujin” is a Japanese short drama released in 2021. It is also known as “Women’s War: Bachelor Murder Case.” The story revolves around Naruto Tetsuya, a bachelor. Many women compete to marry him, but one of them ends up murdering him.
The Feel-Good Part
This drama is a perfect melodrama, with twists and turns and with some principal characters. Another mood lifter is the song selection for the show. The show is engaging and can be binged in a go. The cast was hilarious and delivered fundamental elements of humor. There were exciting plot twists with excellent pacing and also moments of surprise. It is not complex and is fun to watch.
The Disappointing Factor
The drama has a few instances where it is too cheesy and absurd. Since the show is of 6 episodes, the pacing is faster.
In-Depth Analysis
Naruto Tetsuya is a young and handsome bachelor with a wealthy family background. Many women compete against each other to gain his affection and marry him. They take part in a reality show called “Get the Bachelor.” The women- Shimura Wakana, Kawahara Reina, Ichinose Rio, Shimada Rie, Morishita Ichiko, Endo Sei, and Suzaki Riko were to take part in the show. All of them compete against each while but one of them murders Naruto.
Star Power
All the characters played their roles well and delivered humor and entertainment. Furukawa Yuuta played the young bachelor Naruto Tetsuya. The women in the competition were played by- Aoi Wajan, Triendl Reina, Teramoto Rio, Osaki Ichika, and Kitahara Rie.
Overall Opinion
Overall, it is a decent show that is short and does not need much investment. It is not complex and can be enjoyed in a fun hangout with friends. It can be binged altogether and is worth the watch.
