TV Show Digest

This documentary series follows behind-the-scenes and backstage conversations with the K-pop bands TXT, who debuted in 2019, and Enhypen, who debuted in 2020, as they come together to perform for the TXT x EN 2021 KBS Song Festival collab stage and 2022 WeVerse Con, which was one of their most anticipated collaboration performances by their fans, MOAs, and Engenes. This behind-the-scenes look provides a perspective on how much hard work went into their performance and how they overcame all the difficulties that they came across.

The Feel-good Part

This documentary is perfect for fans of TXT, i.e., MOA, and fans of Enhypen, i.e., Engene. It is the ideal video, which contains behind-the-scenes footage, backstage conversations, and all the ideas and thoughts that were put into it by both K-pop groups so as to ensure that their performance was perfect. It is one of the very few documentary series, as we rarely see many Hype artist interactions since the inclusion of several other groups and companies into their label. This allows fans to see how artists prepare for their performances and how collaborations take place. From the song list to the artists participating and the duration of performances to outfit changes, everything has to be considered. This documentary series is perfect for avid and casual fans of both these groups or even those people who are into K-pop, as it gives very warm and nostalgic feelings as the artists perform many songs of the older generation of K-pop songs.

The Disappointing Factor

The only disappointing factor is we did not get to see or hear any other conversations that happened outside of the sphere of K-pop and their collaboration stage, so it was a little sad as they are two groups who are very similar in age so, it would have been interesting to listen to their conversation about their understanding and thoughts about their lives as artists, their feelings, etc. which would have made this show more humane.

In-Depth Analysis

Fans of TXT, or MOA, and fans of Enhypen, or Engene, will both enjoy this documentary. It is the perfect video, containing behind-the-scenes footage, chats from backstage, and all the ideas and considerations that both K-pop groups put into it to make sure that their performance was flawless. We do not see interactions between Hype artists because their label now includes a number of different organizations and groups, making it one of the few documentary series available. Fans can observe how artists practice for shows and work together as a result. Everything needs to be taken into account, including the music selection, the participating performers, the length of performances, and costume changes. Although the singers perform numerous songs from the earlier generation of K-pop songs, this documentary series is ideal for both ardent and casual fans of both of these groups as well as for those who are into K-pop.

Star Power

TXT (short for Tomorrow X Together) is a South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. The group debuted on 4th March 2019, with five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai. The meaning behind the name of the K-pop group TXT, or TOMORROW X TOGETHER, is all the individuals who “come together under one dream in hopes of building a new tomorrow.” The official fandom name of TXT is MOA, which stands for Moment of Alwaysness. MOA refers to every moment shared between TXT and the fans.

ENHYPEN is the name of the final seven members formed through the survival show I-LAND under BE: LIFT Lab. Heeseung, Jake, Jay, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki make up the group. ENHYPEN is a mix of en dash & a hyphen that connects different words to create new meanings. Members of ENHYPEN will connect, discover each other, and grow together. ENHYPEN debuted on 30th November 2020.

Overall Opinion

This documentary would be perfect for fans of these two groups and K-pop groups alike.
