Chinese Restaurant 4 is the fourth season of the celebrity reality TV series, Chinese Restaurant, and aired in 2020. The concept of the show is of the five celebrity cast managing a restaurant on a cruise, right from the cooking, and serving to entertain the customers. The cruise navigates through Hubei, Badong, and Yangtze River, till it reaches its destination in Wuhan, which is where the cast members would go for gameplay of food + outdoors for 21 days on a fantasy rafting cruise.

The cast members put on a lot of hard work which is very much evident to the audience, their hard work is sincere and will surely move the audience. The chemistry between the chefs is notable and gives a fun aspect to the show.

The initial episode started at a rather slow pace, however, the later episodes picked up at a perfect pace.

However, Chinese Restaurant 4 was shot in China itself, because of the COVID-19 restrictions, as the shooting was held iamidthe pandemic. Chinese Restaurant 4 revolves around a cruise restaurant operated solely by celebrity cast members. The five cast members are responsible for everything regarding the restaurant, starting from the cooking to the cleaning. Each member is charged with different departments within the cruise restaurant as the cruise travels through different locations with Wuhan as its destination. The reality show also contributes to a charitable cause as the cruise restaurant meets its set amount of profit, catering would be provided for free to the caregivers of Wuhan including doctors, firefighters, drivers, etc.
Star Power
The five celebrity cast members of the variety show are Huang Xiao Ming who is the restaurant manager. Zhao Li Ying is constantly saving money as much as she can. Lin Shu Wei, is the head chef of the restaurant. Zhang Liang is also in charge of cooking and is the chef of the restaurant, and the last member Li Hao Fei helped throughout every department. Chinese celebrities such as Casper, Liu Yu Ning, Joy Wang, Karry Wang, Yang Chao Yue, Du Hai Tao, and Li Zi Feng appeared as guests in the variety show.
Overall Opinion
The show is a fun reality show, which also gives a glimpse into the celebrities and their real nature. Each of the cast members has their distinct personalities which despite being different, get blended together as they work together sharing the same goal. The show aims to promote the China food in the world. Overall, Chinese Restaurant 4 is an entreating variety show which can be watched if you have idle time.
