Movie Digest

Hee-Sook, Mi-Yeon, and  MI-ok are the three sisters with discrete personalities who reunited for their father’s birthday. These three sisters carry the scars which they have got in their life journey. Things started getting eerie for them as soon as they meet their brother. Watch the drama to witness the cause which made things dreadful for them and to know what happens further.

The Feel Good Part

The director’s style of portraying the lives of three sisters with distinct personalities, as well as how their problems have been highlighted in the film, is a feel-good element of the film. The use of lightning also sets the tone and shows the journey of each of the sisters duly. Moon so-RI’s performance has been the standout among the three actresses; her faith had been tested in the film, and she has carried the role with precision.

The Disappointing Factor

The flashback sequences do not blend in with the rest of the movie’s scenes, and they also give the film a low-budget feel. Individual character arcs can make it feel tedious and dragged at times.

In-Depth Analysis

The film’s concept is simple and what you’d expect from a drama, but the way it’s been presented is spectacular, with excellent cinematography and lighting. It also contains some comedic elements, which provide the necessary counterpoint to the serious tone of the film. Some of the movie scenes elicit an emotional response and make you empathize with the characters. It also demonstrates the difficulties and challenges that women face in the patriarchal society and how generally women deal with them.

Star Power

Each actor did an excellent job, but Moon so- RI was the movie’s star because she immersed herself so thoroughly in her role that the audience was able to connect with her. This is one of the crucial thing that an actor must remember to hook an audience, and Moon So- ri did just that.

Overall Opinion

The film depicts the difficulties that women face throughout their lives and also discusses some family issues, making it a real issue. If you enjoy films about social issues or women’s issues in particular this film is a must-see for you, and it effectively delivers the message it seeks to deliver.
