Movie Digest
The story proceeds when two people meet each other, missing the last train departing in Maidaimae station, in Tokyo. They lead a beautiful relationship of five year long romance. They have a mutual feeling of being contemporary and content. It details the phases of relationship that a couple goes through.
The Feel-Good Part
The most amazing part is, you will feel the situations along with the movie. How comfortable and secure they were around each other, their path together was flowing as easy as water, the way they were falling in love, both of them putting together into their bond and relation, and a lot more. Every scene was so good and raw, and the way it was presented in the movie.
The Disappointing Factor
As such, there was no disappointing factor in the movie but, a part of the audience may wish that they should have married instead of breaking up, their development of the bond is so real but if, such a nice story does not end up with a family, then what should. They should have ended up together as in fairy tales, but life ain’t a fairy tale you know!
In-Depth Analysis
This movie presents, how love stories can be knitted with each other, how a love story that feels beautiful and perfect in the beginning but ends up being a relationship where the individuals are occupied in their own work to achieve their respective goals. It is a bittersweet love story between the two, they share a lot in common, be It movies, books or music.
As they move further with different stages of life, their relationship has to go through many challenges, which eventually turns sour.
Star Power
Kasumi Arimura is a great actor and plays her role in an incredible way. Also, Masuki Suda proves to be an amazing actor, who is capable of displaying full range of human emotions and committing to his roles wholeheartedly. The supporting actors in this movie will become your favorite new faces, including Shodai Fukuyama, Kumi Takiuchi and Kotone Furukawa.
Overall Opinion
It is a beautifully scripted, directed and acted. Story proves that when foundation of your love is respect, the fallout doesn’t have to be ugly. Little details of the movie, its simplicity and build up was perfect.
