Movie Digest

The Kiramagers are fighting the witch Minjo, who has control over dreams. The heroes have the sensation of falling off a building, swimming with a gigantic goldfish, being shot by a pistol that transforms them into puppets, and having a shaved ice maker placed over their heads. Will the Kiramagers be able to escape the bizarre nightmares with Juru’s insight?

The Feel-Good Part

The presentation of the story was fascinating to watch. There are a few crossovers that add to the fun viewing experience.

The Disappointing Factor

The film’s plot is not unique and does not stand out to the viewers.

In-Depth Analysis

It is a Japanese superhero movie that acts as the winter film for Mashin Sentai Kiramager. This film is a part of the other two films, making them all together with a Super Sentai triple bill. The other two movies are Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger Special Chapter: Memory of Soulmates and Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger The Movie: Red Battle! All Sentai Rally!! Most of these films are of short duration. But this film has almost 40 minutes duration, makes it extra interesting to watch. It has a whole new villain who appears just in the movie, despite previously appearing in the series. The Kiramagers’ voyage through dreams feels like it could have easily worked like any monster. But with this idea of dreams, the Bebop Dream stands out. However, this dream world setting dominates only the first half of Bebop Dream, dividing the squad in separate ways. The second half of the film features the typical action sequences that these films are known for, with the six Kiramagers uniting against Minjo and her dark beast Remudon. It is a beautifully colored story with loads of inventiveness, action-packed fights, and a sense of humor that never fails to make you smile. It is a fantastic one-off adventure that complements the series perfectly.

Star Power

All the cast did a decent job with their roles. The most notable acting is from Dan Mitsu (Minjo), who brilliantly played the villain’s role.

Overall Opinion

It is a fun short film that gives you added entertainment for the series.
