Naomi loses her parents suddenly. Her rich uncle moves her to a high-rise apartment. Naomi lives there with her beloved cat, Haru. She is always surrounded by people but still feels lonely because of her parents’ death.

One day she meets Tokito Morinori, a popular celebrity, who lives in the same apartment building. They start devolving into a romantic relationship with each other.

Naomi’s feelings get tangled up and she struggles to find her true self.

The movie has a strong central performance, which deeply focuses on Naomi’s life. It also shows a good friendship and reflects on finding your true worth.

The Disappointing Factor

The movie doesn’t have anything memorable. You can find other movies with such baselines and intriguing plots.

In-Depth Analysis

Naomi is a young woman working for a small publishing company. Suddenly, one day her parents die in a traffic accident. Her uncle helps her and moves her into a high-rise apartment, overlooking Tokyo, owned by him and his wife. Naomi lives there with her black cat, Haru. Though she doesn’t shed a tear after her parent’s death, she feels extremely lonely, even though she is surrounded by her friends and colleagues.

One day by chance she meets Morinori, a member of the idol group EXILE, in the elevator and he starts pursuing her. They get into a romantic relationship. Naomi gets serious about this relationship but Morinori is a playboy.

Star Power

Tabe Mikako is an excellent actress and she carried the whole movie very well. The supporting actors are also amazing and Aiko, played by Kishii Yukino is the best character.

Overall Opinion

The movie is good for a one-time watch. There is nothing very memorable about it but you can give it a try on a lonely day.
