Song Yi Chen is trying to solve a murder case of a young girl who died because she was attacked by a vampire. She had a flower mark on her forehead when her body was found.
One day, Song Yi Chen gets attacked by a tree demon and the rose fairy Jiang Fei, who was on duty at that time, saves him. He notices that Jiang Fei’s aunt has a similar flower mark on her forehead and she becomes the prime suspect in the murder.
Jiang Fei falls in love with him at first sight. They get tangled up in some disturbance, causing a war between gods and demons.
The Feel-Good Part
The graphics of the movie are amazing. It is a fantasy movie and has every visual according to it. the tree monster they created is the actual representation of what a tree demon should look like. The world-building and the illustrations are perfect.
The Disappointing Factor
The movie has some plot holes. Many things are not explained well and they are difficult to understand.
In-Depth Analysis
Song Yi Chen is ordered to investigate a murder case of a young girl who died from having all the blood sucked out of her body. He finds a flower print on the woman’s body. Suddenly when he is attacked by a tree demon, Jiang Fei saves him and takes him to the three heavens. When he goes there, he notices that Jiang Fei’s aunt has the same flower mark on her forehead as the woman’s corpse, and he suspects her aunt as the true murderer.
Lei Ning’er, the head of the demon-hunting clan starts helping Song Yi Chen in investigating the case. But his true identity is as a tree spirit and wants to find the third heaven to take revenge on Jiang Fei. Lei Ning’er even kills Feng Yan and blames Jiang Fei. The male and the female lead break up with each other halfheartedly. Lei Ning’er forces Song Yi Chen to take her to the third heaven, massacres the flower fairy pavilion, and dies with the flower god. The main leads somehow manage to jump out and the power of the flower god save them. Jiang Fei then becomes the flower goddess and Song Yi Chen waits for her in the mortal world.

The star cast is amazing. Each role given to the specific person was perfect.
Overall Opinion
The storyline of the movie is good. If you are into fantasy and the supernatural, then this one is for you.
