Movie Digest

The story begins with a clan flight among a group of drug dealers in Hong Kong set in the arena of drugs, money, guns and weapons. There exists one of the biggest names in Drug trafficking, Mr. Jin. To capture this Individual, an undercover officer from the Crime Unit, brother Shan is sent to act as a mole.

The story witnesses two clans who fight for leadership. After several discussions and battles, Shan gets hold of the position thereby gaining trust from his boss and the gang members. Not revealing his true identity, he begins to handle the drugs and money exchange while providing confidential information to the crime department. The story heats up as soon as the mole is exposed. Would he continue to be the boss or stay true to his job by exposing the crimes committed by Mr. Jin? Would he get hold of the biggest drug dealer in Hong Kong and will the mission be accomplished? The last section of the movie has the answers to all these questions with a major surprise element.

The Feel-Good Part   

The movie was action-packed and contained many eye-catching moments during the fight scenes. The plot twists and surprises while revealing the true character of ‘Mr. Jin’ was also interesting.

The Disappointing Factor

The movie showcases a predictable story that has been used in many other mafia movies. This genre is widely produced in Hong Kong movies making this one quite predictable and typical.

In-Depth Analysis

The action sequences were entertaining to watch. The movie overall highlights the underworld of illegal drug dealing and money laundering.

Star Power

The protagonist of the story is Brother Shan [played by Jordan Chan], being the central role, he carried the character well. The main antagonist Mr. Jin [played by Kent Tong] portrayed the textbook villain’s look and feel. Other supporting actors like Shan’s girlfriend Wen Wen [played by Lesley Lin] and the inspector Kong Que [ played by Ricky Chan] showcased their parts aptly.

Overall Opinion

Drugs, money laundering, illegal business, action-packed, violence. If concepts like that from movies excite you, this should definitely be on the top of your list.
