Chinese film industries are always great at creating masterpiece content. Especially, when it comes to historical and fantasy content. This is a movie about a god who comes to earth to help a guy. The main synopsis of the movie is the god of wealth goes broke. She comes to earth and decides to help people. She comes across a variety of incidents that made her realise the struggle of living on earth. The fact that humans survive every incident and still live their life made her curious. The story turns to different angles, where she experiences life on earth. She meets a man who later became her main priority and interest on earth.

The Feel-Good Part
The movie is a great combination of humour and childishness of the female character. It contains many entertaining elements that make you cheerful. Scenes where she first comes to earth are funny. She tries to communicate with people but she was invisible. It is a nice movie.
The Disappointing Factor
The female lead is the main character. Also, as a god, she should be strong. But in some scenes, she became vulnerable around the male lead. She tries so hard to get to know him. I think it is a bit disappointing, considering she is a powerful creature.

“The Hapless God Of Wealth” is a fantastic Chinese comedy movie. It is a fantasy movie where a god, (female lead) comes to earth. The movie has a lot of cheerful and comedy scenes that make you laugh. It is a relaxing and feel-good movie. Chinese fantasy movies always find their way into the hearts of people. The opening of the movie is people praying to god and the next scene shows our female lead in another world. She along with her superior watches the earth. Later, to go to earth, she collects energy batteries. We will feel that scene like in a game. Then she finds out that she is invisible to earthlings. Hence she went back to heaven and came back. She starts to live as a human. She was supposed to help the male lead. She tries her best to convince him and help him. Day after day, they became friends and later starts to develop feelings for each other. She helped him with his dream and they supposed each other. Between all these, many comedy events are happening between them.
It is a nice movie with great actors.
Star Power
The movie is directed by Wang Pan Yu. With the incredible acting of Sun Yiyiang, Wang Siyi, Zhang Zhiyoa, Lu Teng’er, You Xian Chao, and Yan Ge, the movie is a great success.
Overall Opinion
Highly recommended to all those who like comedy movies. All the fantasy elements were presented in humour. A great storyline with a great production team.
