A show featuring five different BL couples. Two stories revolve around the workplace. Two other stories show high school students and one long-term couple who have been in a relationship for ten years and still going strong.
However, the show tells the story of all the five couples, the main story focuses on an office employee and a new intern who are attracted to each other.
Through the course of the show, various things happen and threaten their relationships.
The Feel-Good Part
It is a good lighthearted drama with some cute characters. You can see good chemistry between some characters.
The Disappointing Factor
The story of five couples is quite overwhelming. The plot gets confusing and too much to focus on. Also, because of the side stories, the main story did not get the crowd it deserves and because five stories are going on none of them feels fully developed, not even the characters
In-Depth Analysis
Top Secret Together is a BL drama that revolves around Simai an intern working as a graphic designer. Lukmo is an office employee who works in the same department as Simai. Phob is also an intern and Simai’s friend. MaiEak is also doing his internship at the same company and is Simai’s and Lukmo’s friend. Newyear is the owner of a coffee shop and Phob’s older brother. Both is a dentist and Newyear’s boyfriend and sometimes help him in the coffee shop. Nampu is a university student. Copy is also an engineering university senior student. Suea and Plawaan are high school students.
There are too many characters in the show who have very separate love stories. The show doesn’t have a storyline of its own, it just focuses on the relationships of these couples. The sow feels distant in a way because the stories don’t connect. If somewhere the stories would’ve connected, it could’ve been more intriguing.
Star Power
The Star cast is good. They feel real. Newyear and Both are a real-life couple, so there is that of course they feel realistic. There are many cute characters also.
Overall Opinion
The show is good enough but too much of a hassle. The many couples make it confusing. The show has many flaws but you can watch it. It is not a complete waste of time.
