Drama Digest

The story revolves around Cheun Chiva, where all the local people depend on the local resort for their daily wages and livelihood. The resort had many ups and downs, but a point came where it started going significantly downhill. That’s when Lookpat came to the rescue and made up a tale on her own about a ghost frog. The tale said that the couple will always stay together if they spot a frog in their resort. She went around and spread the word about the tale. Although it took a while, the legend became quite popular in towns nearby. The resort finally became prosperous and gained many visitors and tourists from all around. Unbeknownst to Lookpat and others, the land was mortgaged to a real-estate company whose owner was Kin. He is a successful businessman who is very greedy and cold-hearted. Hearing about the legend, he visited Cheun Chiva to handle things independently. With ill intentions, he wanted to transform the local resort and the community into a substantial high-end luxury resort. He planned to start by exposing the legend so that the local resort would go downhill. Suddenly, he met with an accident and lost parts of his memory which made the local people to benefit from it. Lookpat’s mother and others lied to Kin by telling him that he visited the place to get married to Lookpat. He chose to stay there, and Lookpat agreed to nurse him and care for him. As time passed, they got closer and grew feelings for each other. Things turned when Kin regained his memory and realized everyone had been lying to him. He became wholly harsh and angry and treated everyone with utmost disrespect.  Will Lookpat succeed in saving her community? Will they be able to unite? The remaining story deals with it.

The Feel-Good Part

The story had quite a different and unique plot. The sarcastic scenes were hilarious.

The Disappointing Factor

After getting to know the truth, Kin became a very harsh person. He was highly vulgar to everyone, which was quite frustrating to watch. The last episodes are rushed, and the plotline feels left out.

In-Depth Analysis

The story had great potential but later went downhill. The show could have added so many things to the account, which would have made it more enjoyable. The cast was great. Their performances, dresses, and sets were excellent. The starting episodes were outstanding; they were fascinating and curious-filled to watch. However, the last episodes were very rushed. They just wanted to blame Lookpat for everything and make her suffer. They also finished the series without completing the plot. The OST of the series was probably the best part. It was perfectly played in all the necessary scenes. It was delightful and fun to listen.

Star Power

The cast in the series was great. The actors played their roles so well. Vill Wannarot Sonthichai played Lookpat, and Son Yuke Songpaisan played Kin. Son, with his terrific acting, made the viewers hate Kin. He was so brutally rude to Lookpat, who was only trying to make things right for everyone. She did act very stupid at times, but her character was terrific as a leader. The supporting cast did great, but they didn’t stand out much for me.

Overall Opinion

I wouldn’t say that it is a must-watch. But it’s enjoyable to watch. Some scenes were excellent, whereas some scenes were exaggerated.
