Drama Digest

“Remember You” is a Thai crime series directed by Sivaroj Kongsakul and Thana Srisuke. It is the remake of the Korean drama named “Hello Monster.”

The Feel-Good Part

This one is the right choice for people interested in bubbly crime dramas. Comparatively, this remade version of the show is better as it has filtered many unnecessary plots and storylines. The characters have developed to be more realistic. The conclusion was impressive as the spotlight was on the central relationship. Despite being a crime show, it has a few fascinating scenes with mental games played by intriguing characters ending of each episode is mysterious enough to make the viewers curious about the next episode.

The Disappointing Factor

The first few episodes of the show were quite dull, as it seemed like a bland display of the old series. The story is quite disappointing as it did not provide any information on the background and the reason behind specific scenes and acts. They were many plot holes between the original story and this one. Besides, the female lead created disappointment for many viewers. Her character is confusing, and the romance was also bitter. It took a long time to get to the actual point of the story. The unnecessary plot details take all the attention and take away the show’s focus from the central murder case. The show puts effort into other miscellaneous things and diverts from its primary aim.

In-Depth Analysis

A genius detective and a colleague team up to investigate a case. The case is close to his home. The young detective is invited to investigate a particular murder case as the counselor. But this investigation led him to regain his lost memory.

Star Power

The stars in the show preferably did an outstanding performance. However, the characters were not favorites of many favorite role stars played by Petch Paopetch, Belle Kemisara, and Tay Tawan did a remarkable job.

Overall Opinion

Overall, it is a decent crime show and worth watching. If you ignore the unnecessary elements in the show, it will be entertaining enough and will keep you hooked. This is an excellent addition to the crime genre. But with 16 long episodes, it is not worth the time investment.
