Drama Digest
The story follows the story of Ram and Lukchup. Ram is a final-year architecture student and Lukchup is a first-year student who studies food and nutrition.
Ram is a fussy eater, let’s say that the normal food we eat won’t please him, he needs something different, something new every time he eats.
Lukchup has a crush on him but he doesn’t tell him because he never had the tenacity so now, he lures him through food.
The Feel-Good Part
All the friendships and family relations in the drama are amazing and you are going to be jealous of them. The family’s easy acceptance of their relationship is praiseworthy. Both the family and friends in this show are very understanding.
The food that Lukchup made looked delicious. Those scenes are shot perfectly and it is those shots that tell what Lockup is studying. They are fantastic.
The Disappointing Factor
Many things went wrong in this show. The first thing is too many relationships. There are more than two relationships shown in the drama.
Second, Lukchup was way too kind, and so people used this against him and treated him the way they wanted.
Third, Namning. She is the most annoying character in the whole Asian drama history. She will literally piss you off and you’d love to skip the parts wherever she was there.
In-Depth Analysis
La Cuisine is a cute love story but because many stories were going on, the main story didn’t get the space it needed. Because of so many stories, all the stories are rushed. It would’ve been better if there were only two stories. The plot is good but it didn’t get the perfect execution and things didn’t end anywhere.
The storyline as a whole is predictable. There are many Thai BL dramas now and things are getting similar. And the annoying girls really have a talent to piss you off at any point of the show without any regrets. They are one of a kind.
Star Power
The star cast is what you can expect in a Thai drama. You know what this means. It is average for all the characters.
Overall Opinion
There are many Thai BL dramas, you will surely find something better to watch. Don’t waste your time with this one.
