Drama Digest
The story revolves around a high school girl Seon Nyeo who looks like a female protagonist of a popular web comics written a decade ago. She even got her name after the fictional character who she hates because of the cliché romance in the web comics. But her world turns upside down when one day, Cheon Nam Wook, the hero of the web comics literally pops out of the fictional world and magically appears in her home on her eighteenth birthday. There starts the journey of a shocked Seon Nyeo to figure out how to send Nam Wook back to his world. On the other hand, Nam Wook determines to win Seon Nyeo’s heart by his extraordinary charm. There is also Noh ye Joon, a social media heartthrob and Seon Nyeo’s friend who develops feelings for her, although she is unaware of it yet. How does Syeon nyeo deal with the new chaos in her life? Does Cheon Nam Wook succeed in finding his love of the comics or does he make the real world Seon Nyeo fall for him? Who does Seon Nyeo choose? What will be the end of Cheon Nam Wook? There are many feel-good elements in the drama such as school life friendships and a light romance. The story takes you to the world of fantasy and there are scenes which directly connect to teenagers/young adults. The drama has both funny scenes as well as emotional scenes at times. The drama lacks a consistent pace. Some scenes are smooth while others are quite rushed. There is also a lack of proper explanation for various incidents that occur in the drama. The dialogues are fun but somewhere they lack the comical element. If you prefer dramas that are lengthy and detailed, you might feel the ending of the series to be abrupt.

The drama highlights the aspects of friendships that bloom in school life. It also shows how sometimes unexpected events occur in our lives and the choices we make shape our life. Seon Nyeo’s ordinary life changed once she meets Cheon Nam Wook and after falling in love with him, she realises the importance of affection.
Star Power
The actors well portrayed their roles in the drama. They excel in visuals as well as acting. The character of Cheon Nam Wook played by Kim Min Kyu really brings out colours of comedy in the drama. Seon Nyeo’s character will make you laugh sometimes but sometimes, you’ll sympathize with her. The rest other characters have also done well.
