The Feel-Good Part

This show captures the real side of idols and their hardships which translates into the popularly known celebrities onscreen. The series portrays the journey of two leading idol members with a beginner in the industry. It is overall a lighthearted show that captures young minds trying their best to reach for fame. The show differs from other youth dramas as it provides a slapstick comedy and clever satire with self-irony. It also portrays some k-pop clichés in a comedic sense with dramatic moments a few times. There are no pro-longed moments or filler episodes as it provides a fast-paced and well-written plot. The show provides a subtle romance focusing more on their daily struggles, which gives a realistic approach. The chemistry between the lead actors got well captured in this series. Even the cinematography and sets of this show got beautifully captured.

The Disappointing Factor

The plot of this show is quite similar to other Korean dramas and might be another boring teen drama for some audiences. People interested in romantic happy endings might not like this show as it contains an open-ended finale. The characters are mundane and annoying to watch as the plot progresses. The storylines feel predictable and usual to no conclusion for any of the problems portrayed.
