The Feel-Good Part

The computer-generated imagery is good. The visuals are amazing. The artwork portrayed is efficient enough to amaze any viewer. Although the story feels stretched out, it doesn’t seem boring. The mixture of fantasy and history makes it a beautiful combination though the plot doesn’t look too historical. In addition to this mixture, romance is also present in the drama. The storyline is alluring with all the future-seeing. The location and the costumes are lovable. The OST is heart-touching. The chemistry between the two leads is laudable. The cast has portrayed the characters well.

The Disappointing Factor

The plot becomes predictable halfway through. The drama does not have any room for even a bit of suspense. The drama started good but lost its momentum later. There are a lot of plot holes. The ending is not clear and does not have any explanation for the continuation. It seems open-ended, which is rarely liked by the viewers. There are too many plot twists without any logic and make no sense. They pop out of the blue. The story becomes repetitive at one point. The supernatural beings get less screen time, which most of the viewers get disappointed with it.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama began with the introduction of the characters. The story has a mixture of fantasy and history. Blindness and being possessed by a demon are the themes of the plot. Chun Gi gains sight, and Ha Ram loses vision when a tragedy occurs. It means one of them is blind either before or after the tragedy. Although they don’t have their vision, they have other special abilities. It is true in real life too. It is true in real life too, and not restricted to vision. Every physically challenged person has a unique talent. In the case of the drama, Chun Gi could paint even when she was blind, and Ha Ram could see the future when he went blind. Another notable point is Chun Gi’s efforts in proving herself amongst men. Protecting loved ones from harm is also portrayed here.

Star Power

Ahn Hyo Seop plays Ha Ram, the blind astronomer who can see the future by tracing the sky. Kim Yoo Jung portrays the talented painter Hong Chun Gi. Their chemistry is alluring. The child actors have played their roles well. Altogether, the visuals in the drama are remarkable.
