Drama Digest

Cha Cha Woong (Park Hae Jin) is a handsome and famous magician who has made a name for himself by performing stunning magic feats. But the general public is unaware of his secrets about being assisted in his performance by a gang of hired ghosts. When he meets Ko Seul Hae (Jin Ki Joo), a dedicated police officer, he joins the civil police unit to get attention, but they quickly fall in love. They work together to solve a ten-year-old crime involving their family members while discovering stories from their former lives that bind them together forever.

Employees of the magic factory include Choi Geum (Jung Joon Ho), Nam Sang Gun (Jung Suk Yong), Ma Dong Chul (Go Gyu Pil), and Kang Ah Reum (Park Seo Yeon). Chun Ye Ji (Jang Ha Eun) is a youthful shaman, and Lee Yong Ryul (Kim Hee Jae) is a junior cop.

The Feel-Good Part

The way shamanism was used as a tool and magic was incorporated was intriguing. The General’s fascination with the idol Aris was amusing, as were the sequences surrounding him.

The Disappointing Factor

Plot development was not consistent, yet it did remain constant for a long time. As a tale, it wasn’t moving as quickly because everything made sense, from character introduction to creating the story’s foundation.

In-Depth Analysis

After the first few episodes, the tale becomes fascinating, and the main couple has terrific chemistry together. The relationship between the employer, Cha Cha Woong, the staff Ma Dong Cheol, Nam Sung Gun, Kang Ah Reum, and the advisor Choi Gum is breathtaking. Despite the fact that I despised the characters of Seo Chang Ho and Seo Hee Soo (the father and the son). At the beginning of the drama, I found Seo Chang Ho’s persona pretty amusing. But he was too cruel to find it funny in later chapters of the drama. However, this does not make the drama any less enjoyable to watch.

Star Power

Overall, the casts (including guests and extras) are fantastic, and their chemistry is excellent. It is, without a doubt, one of the best ensembles ever assembled in a K-drama.

Overall Opinion

One of the most enjoyable and exciting K-dramas of the year’s first half. This play is an excellent blend of romance, adventure, fantasy, and humor. The ending is tremendous and exceeds expectations. I definitely recommended getting engrossed in fresh concepts.
