Drama Digest
This series is a live-action of the anime Gokushufudo which is also a manga series written by Kousuke Oono, it is the story is about a former yakuza (Japanese term for gangsters). In the anime he retires as a gangster and becomes a househusband as his wife makes goes to work, but this series is a bit different, it is a comedy based on how the voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda spends his life cooking meals and doing household chores.
The Feel-Good Part
It’s so funny and entertaining when he cooks and cleans, he makes everything humorous. We can also learn tips about doing household chores.
The Disappointing Factor
It didn’t meet the fan’s expectations. It is good, but the yakuza character is not elevated much it’s a tough man doing chores every day than a yakuza doing it like in the original.
In-Depth Analysis
Kenjiro Tsuda manages his house every day by cooking, cleaning, and doing other house chores. This series starts as Tsuda tries to sharpen his knife in order to cook. Later he brews himself a cup of coffee. He is a perfectionist. This series is a slice-of-life genre about a househusband. We can find a lot of tips to do house chores.
Star Power
Kenjiro Tsuda is a voice actor. He is the voice of the original anime character, he did an excellent job. We can’t imagine anyone else in his role.
Overall Opinion
This series is short and entertaining it is light-hearted and we can learn a lot of things from it.
