Drama Digest

In Tokyo, Kentaro Ito resides with his wife Chizuru. Yuka and Mika are two of their three daughters. All three of their daughters have left home and are living independently. Yuka is a 28-year-old single woman. Although her job is succeeding, she frequently falls in love with married guys in her personal life. Rika, who is 25 years old, is married to a bank employee. They currently reside in Osaka, but a divorce is imminent. Mika is a single 22-year-old. She resides with her partner. Her lover wants to write manga, but his chances don’t seem that promising.

The Feel-Good Part

Father Gentaro is the most loving person you will ever meet; he values his family above all else and isn’t overly strict or controlling. When it comes to his girls, he has a tendency to judge others and get overly worried about seemingly insignificant matters. He actually offers them the freedom to go back to a place if they’re feeling depressed. The musical analysis is excellent. The point is well made.

The Disappointing Factor

It follows the lives of Gentaro-san and his 3 daughters without having a beginning or an end, therefore there is nothing disappointing about this drama. For others who are not interested in side love stories, it could also be uninteresting.

In-Depth Analysis

Ito Gentaro, 58, and his wife Chizuru reside in a home in Tokyo. Their three daughters ought to have left the house and led fulfilling lives. Their 28-year-old eldest daughter, Yuka, is single and succeeding at work but has a predilection for affairs. Their second daughter, Rika, who is 25 years old, married an educated man and now resides in Osaka, but the two are about to file for divorce. The couple’s youngest child, Mika, 22, is also single and moves in with a man who doesn’t appear like he will be a famous comic artist as soon as she is able to live alone. Gentaro always worries about his character-deficient daughters. This obstinate, traditional father takes a man he likes to the house out of the blue in the middle of night and presents him to his daughters, completely disregarding their preferences. Actually, Yuka’s ex-boyfriend is this guy. How will the family be the next day?

Star Power

Yuka, the oldest daughter, excels at her job but is often overly analytical. She can be unpredictable and isn’t your big, trustworthy sister, yet she will listen to you without arguing. She requires just a hint of flaw in order to keep things interesting for her. Your nice girl “Rika,” the second daughter, solves her difficulties with maturity and doesn’t make a big deal out of little things. After the mother, she was the most favoured character. The eldest daughter, “Mika,” is learning new things and experimenting, and she occasionally disagrees with her father.

Overall Opinion

Every daughter is unique but similar; they all exhibit familial quirks throughout their lifetime, but they all have a wide range of career alternatives. Give it a try if you enjoy slice-of-life dramas with love subplots.
