Drama Digest

The sequel to Hiru starts right where the previous one had left. But this time, Kara gains more screen presence, and as his stories of revenge unfold, the entire mood of the drama changes yet again, and the intensity of the leech theme strengthens furthermore. The rooters for Yuki- Zoka duo will be left thrilled as their relationship will see a new light.

The Feel-Good Part

Unlike the 1st season, this season has more sensible twists and turns that add to the viewer’s interest. With a slight shift of focus on Kara, the storyline swells with the theme of revenge. How a Hiru functions in such a society has been creatively executed by the writers.

The Disappointing Factor

Although the romance was a hit last season, it somehow feels draggy here but nevertheless hints at fan interest. Sometimes, the scenes tend to be unbelievably dark in the theme, which has a jarring impact on the viewer.

In-Depth Analysis

The characters feed upon each other, and it seems as if they have been caught up in a vicious circle from where there is no escape. This preserves the central theme and justifies it even better. With Kara occupying the central stage, the plot takes a serious and more exciting turn which the audience would kill to watch.

Star Power

Sakaguchi Kentaro as Kara provides the story with the severity and intensity that was lacking in the 1st season with an overemphasis on the Yuki- Zoka romance. This will undoubtedly draw your attention to the smoothness with which the story has been executed this time.

Overall Opinion

Beware of Kara’s toxic charm and witty moves. For those disappointed last season, it is now the time to make up for it.
