A mystery has emerged, as a little girl has gone missing in the same way as Yuria did 13 years ago. The police were skeptical of the testimony of Yuria at first, but the new kidnapping case convinced them of her legitimacy. To learn more about the culprit and crime, watch the drama Thirteen.

The Feel-Good Part

The thriller mystery drama was frightening and thrilling from the very first moment. It was intriguing and dark at the same time. Viewers who enjoy dark crime thriller dramas will enjoy it. The story develops suspense. The best aspect is that the show was spot-on in kidnapping and suspense.

The Disappointing Factor

There were no feelings in scenes of pain, admissions, and confrontations. The acting was stiff and did not fit the genre properly. The theme became tiresome over time due to the repeated use of single music.

In-Depth Analysis

The drama is an adaptation of BBC Original British drama Thirteen written by Marnie Dickens. It has been a success all over the United Kingdom. This fact puts a lot of pressure on the remake to be the best it can be. The criminology suspense in the series is nice. The drama does an excellent job of describing how a girl kidnapped 13 years ago finds the new world different. She is unable to communicate with her family. More importantly, the theme song is by LiSA, a well-known Japanese singer and songwriter who makes you feel in love and creates a memorable experience.

Star Power

Sakuraba Nanami is the main character (Aikawa Yuria). She struggled to identify and express emotions in situations such as being terrified and having an anxiety attack. The supporting cast performed a decent job with the primary character, but not flawlessly.

Overall Opinion

Overall, the drama is suspenseful due to the return of the lost girl. It has a suspense element to the kidnapping crime. There are lies, but the unexpected truth will finally emerge. The drama features several scenes that will leave your brain in a state of shock. However, the acting approach was stiff and could not convey emotions properly. Nonetheless, the drama is worth viewing for well-written plotline by Marine Dickens.
