Bai Lang is a young cadre who is dispatched by the central government as the secretary of Miyueshan village. He tries to do revitalization of the village while facing many conflicts such as ecological protection, restriction of important water sources, development of mines, and construction of buildings. With his efforts, the outlook of Miyue mountain village changed. With the help of Zheng Chuanying, Macy, and others Bai Lang calmly solves one problem after another.
Star Power
Wang Lei who played Bai Lang and everyone in the crew worked very hard for this drama. To implement the real state of farmers the actors and actresses did not put much makeup on for the whole show.
Overall Opinion
This drama is inspiring and thought-provoking to watch. The conditions in rural villages are well presented and the actor made it look so realistic.
