Drama Digest

Yao Moxin (Eva Cheng), the queen of Great Chu, falls prey to the schemes in the royal court. After a night of thunderstorm and lightning, her soul is transferred to her younger sister Yao Mowan. When she learns the truth, she enters the palace to take revenge against those who plotted to kill her.

The Feel-Good Part

Renascence’s humour in the first ten episodes is another strength; it helps the audience develop empathy for the character and provides a firm foundation for the rest of the drama. In addition, the plot will flow easily and interestingly, with a consistent feel to it.

The Disappointing Factor

The show was reduced from 70 to 36 episodes, as initially planned and filmed. This had an impact on the overall plotline and pacing, as well as producing plot gaps large enough for viewers to deduce vital information from BTS film. There were sequences that made no sense, people that arrived out of nowhere, and story arcs that ended abruptly (or concluded too quickly without much satisfaction gained).

In-Depth Analysis

It follows a lady who, after being reborn, faces challenges in the name of vengeance. Yao Mo Xin (Eva Cheng) was the Great Chu’s queen, and she was the target of a plot that took place within the royal palace. The original spirit travels to her younger sister Yao Mo Wan after a night of storms and lightening (Li Mo Zhi). Many opponents are now pursuing Yao Mo Wan. She ended up losing her memories after jumping off a cliff. Yao Mo Wan ultimately falls in love with Ye Jun Qing after a series of odd happenings (Chen Zhe Yuan). The prince of Great Chu was Ye Jun Qing.

She discovered the truth about herself one day. Yao Mo Wan appeared in court to exact vengeance on those who attempted to murder her. Mo Wan also discovered who was responsible for her death. She is aware of King Ye Hong Yi’s true nature (Johnny Zhang). She was sent to assist Ye Jun Qing in ascending to the throne. She is also embroiled in love connections with many guys who have selflessly assisted her. Yao Mo Wan will be able to keep her vow at the end of the novel. She was also able to avenge herself. With a happy ending story, Mo Wan and Jun Qing are ultimately united.

Star Power

All of the actors did an outstanding job representing their characters. You could sense each of their feelings. Even the villains acted in such a delightful manner that we couldn’t help but dislike them and throw a temper tantrum at them.

Overall Opinion

This one is shorter than other lengthy historical dramas, and you may finish it in a short amount of time. If you enjoy war scenes, this is the place to go. This drama is also for harem and reverse harem drama fans; there are many devious characters striving for power and favour in this drama.
