Drama Digest:

Jimmy, Damian’s son, is now a part of Jerry, Damian, and Kai’s lives. His appearance disturbs the relationship between the two. Jerry will need to choose whether to accept Jimmy or be ready to part ways with Damian. Jerry is also under pressure from his family to have a biological child at the same time. Damian makes an effort to get along with Jimmy, but will he be able to mend fences with Jerry and keep their family intact with these new issues?

The Feel-Good Part:

Genuine problems were addressed, and the queer characters felt diverse and like real people rather than clichés.

The Disappointing Factor:

Room For Improvement: The first episode with everyone lying, the anticlimactic opening, and the revelation that three months have passed

In-Depth Analysis:

The complex interactions between queer couples and their families are the main topic of Papa and Daddy’s second season. Managing a committed relationship will always require wisdom, whether you’re straight or gay. This is a charming, romantic series with a sobering backstory that drives the plot forward. This leaves the story unfinished because it was not adequately handled. Although it is a rom-com, it blasted out the fundamental problems that plague all relationships. Regret. The narrative is strong overall, and watching it will make you feel happy and satisfied. But YOU could see that not everything was in order. I wished they had dealt with those problems more forcefully and successfully.

Star Power:

In Papa & Daddy, the acting is respectable. Both leads provide good enough performances to pass the test, making them both usable. Mike Lin, who plays Jerry, might be a little less experienced than other actors, and this shows in the way he sometimes responds during the more difficult parts. He appears to be mostly in good health and at ease while acting naturally. The two leads have a great deal of chemistry together. These performers completely commit to their demonstrations of devotion, which makes them popular. The fact that Jimmy is laid-back and takes his responsibilities as the older brother very seriously astounds Jerry and makes it simple for him to embrace Jimmy.

Overall Opinion:

This series demonstrates the struggles a member of the LGBTQ community faces. This is not exactly a bl, but what you might term a lgbt series. Since everything runs smoothly and this show is not just pleasant and romantic, It addresses issues that many marriages encounter in real life. THE REALITY THIS DRAMA BOUGHT WILL SUIT YOU. Also very beautifully written are the characters. They are not perfect; they make mistakes, but they also grow from them and mend fences. The recast actor performed an outstanding job. The sequel is not a lighthearted romance like its precursor. It won’t be simple to watch because of the certain seriousness of the tone.
