The Feel-Good Part

The chemistry between the leads was reasonable. Together they have many fluffy scenes. The female lead is funny, outgoing, thoughtful, and hardworking. In drama, she has got excellent career development. The secondary romance was enjoyable. Han Xue and Gu Li had a cute romance.

The Disappointing Factor

The drama contains typical rom-com backlighting shots. Accidental falls and slow motion were overused making romantic scenes look forced. Because of the love square, misunderstandings arose between the leads.

In-Depth Analysis

The story moved fast, and the climax episode was underwhelming. It got super dramatic towards the end. Nuan Nuan was finding her career and reigning passion was so good to watch. Her ideals of hard work and kindness were quite impressive. She was surrounded by evil characters, but she managed to hold her ground. It started well in terms of learning and supporting each other. The plot was entirely predictable. The product placement of oreo cookies and wine bottles were nice.

Star Power

Eleanor Lee’s acting was impressive. She played the emotional scenes well. Leon Lai and Tim Pei were appealing. Li Min Jung attractively portrayed Gu Li. The cast was appropriately selected.

Overall Opinion

My love, enlighten me has romanticized possessiveness. The drama is an excellent watch to get into some romance.
