My Love and Stars is about an actress (Xin Chen) who gets into a scandal and hence can not work under instructions from her company. Her boss and ex (Lu Xin) tell her that for the company’s big boss (Lu Xin’s higher-up) to allow her to take on acting jobs, Xin Chen needs to sign the company with an ambitious musician An Xiaoyu. In hopes to retrieve her acting career, Xin Chen finds herself as Xiaoyu’s assistant, sticking around even when Xiaoyu’s career takes a hit after someone poisons his drink. Overall, the leads are both sweet and likable people.
Star Power
The drama has many brilliant actors. The main lead and the supporting cast are also delightful, appealing, and enchanting to the viewers.
There are many sweet moments between the leads, and the viewers can feel their chemistry. Both are very supportive of each other and their careers. The female lead has done a great job depicting herself as a tenacious and strong woman.
Overall Opinion
The dialogue delivery, the screenplay, and the acting done by every actor are on point. The way Xin Chen turned against the wind and returned to the top gradually sparked a spark with An Xiaoyu in the process of struggle.
