The Feel-Good Part
The drama is one of the best investigative-suspense genre dramas, which will surely not disappoint you. You will get a high adrenaline rush while watching the investigative scenes, and it has a pretty decent storyline.
The Disappointing Factor
The romantic relationship of the female lead was depicted in a rather messy manner, which had the female lead in a vague state of mind. Furthermore, the character of the female lead in the context of a lover was written poorly. There are also some scenes and backstories depicted in the drama that might come across as illogical and hardly makes sense.

Miss Truth is adapted from the novel The Tang Dynasty’s Female Forensic Doctor. The drama version is a bit different from the novel as there are many details that were skipped in the drama. The drama is well-written with a good screenplay, and the cases are interesting to watch. The love triangle between the three lead characters is quite different from the regular dramas, and the dynamic between the three is unique, which might not be expected by many viewers. The acting is good and genuine, and the actors did an impressive job of portraying their characters. The characters are well-written, especially the female lead character is written very thoughtfully as a brilliant forensic examiner with a strong personality. However, the writers did a relatively poor job of portraying the female lead as a lover.
