The drama is adapted from a Chinese novel named ‘Marry Me,’ by Mingyue Tingfeng. The story consists of Ju Mu Er, who is a fantastic piano artist. She’s wise and strong and is the daughter of a winemaker. Her piano master Shi Bo Yin is accused of something and is later hanged to death. She decides to find the real culprit and investigate the case independently. This gave an entry of massive trouble for Ju Mu Er and she soon turned blind. She comes along with the paths of Long Yue. He is the second son of the Long Family, who are extraordinarily successful and owns the most significant business in the capital, and has close relations with the royal family. Long Yue has deep pockets and loves money more dearly than his own life. He is pretty stubborn but has a kind heart and loves his family dearly. Ju Mu Er kept bumping into Long Yue as she traveled and investigated the case. In one case, she is forced to marry an already married and elderly guy, which is when Long Yue comes to the rescue and offers to marry her. It wasn’t long enough when they were already in love. The investigation bought countless dangers and chaos to the Long Family and hence Ju Mu Er causes a misunderstanding purposely which led to the couple’s divorce. Long Yue gets learns the truth and decides to marry her again. On their final steps toward the investigation, they again are tempted to separate to confront the enemy. Once the reality comes out, they get married again, and based on this, the drama is named ‘Three Marriages Provoke The King’s Heart.’ There are so many puzzles that are resolved all through this time. Will the couple finally be able to have a happy ending? Will they be able to resolve all the mysteries?

The Feel-Good Part

The storyline of this drama was very unexpected and different. Compared to the novel, so many things, including the characters, were changed to excite the viewers. The drama was quite deep but also light at the same time and brought together different kinds of genres too.

The Disappointing Part

Some scenes that felt illogical as the plotline from the novel was changed. So the writers needed to work on those specific parts.

In-Depth Analysis

The story travels through so many investigations, which unravel many secrets and mysteries. Many harsh villains that only spilled blood, and caused chaos were in the series. There are also so many relationships highlighted like brotherhood, love, and friendships. The show has all kinds of elements like mystery, drama, comedy and romance as well. The power that the lead couple held together was impeccable. Their love for each other was so pure that no obstacles could break or bother them. Despite everything, they reunited and embraced happiness. The costumes were so quirky and cute, and the sets and sceneries were beautiful.

Star Power

The cast in the entire series were excellent! The main characters, along with all the supporting characters did a fabulous job. They portrayed their roles so well that one could quickly feel their emotions realistically. Xing Zhao Lin played Long Yeo, and Xiao Yan played Ju Mu Er. They surprised the viewers with their chemistry and made us fall for them. Other supporting actors like Herman Li as Long Teng, Liu Yi Tong as Shu Ruo Chen, Qui Shin Lun as Long Fei, etc., also did an excellent job.

Overall Opinion

The show overall was a great watch. If you love mystery dramas, then this is a must-watch!
