Drama Digest
The egotistical employer Bai Zhen Xiang is surrounded by animosity from his workers, which keeps him trapped in a loop of facing death. Every time he passes away, the time is reset to the same day. Li Lu Duo becomes caught in this timeless loop as a result. She resolves to assist Zhen XInag despite her hatred for him out of frustration of being stuck in this loop. She eventually develops feelings for him as a result of her efforts to change and save him.
The Feel-Good Part
The storyline is entertaining to watch and cheerful. Both the supporting characters’ parts and the funny performance of the main characters were enjoyable. It works best for people who enjoy lighthearted stories with a slow buildup. The tale also touches on the lengths one will go to safeguard a loved one. It’s also fascinating to see Zhen Xiang’s final character growth and Lu Duo’s gradual realisation of his personality.
The Disappointing Factor
The episode was a little monotonous because of the repeated time loops. The male lead’s excessive egocentric behaviour could get tiresome. Other than being a grumpy employer, it doesn’t appear as much thought went into writing his character. There isn’t much personality in the female lead character because her main goal is to influence the male lead.
In-Depth Analysis
Because of his selfish personality, Zhen Xiang’s employees nicknamed him Overlord Goose. His staff disapproves of him as a result of his rudeness. He frequently encounters death as a result of this. When Lu Duo eventually realises this, she tries her hardest to improve his character and to make his flaws clear to the other workers. Because it is rarely discussed, the plot’s discussion of sexual harassment of men was unique.
Star Power
Li Lu Duo is portrayed by Zhang Ya Qing, and Bai Zhen Xiang by Bai Ke. Their portrayals of their roles were excellent.
