The Feel-Good Part

This drama largely is a romantic story about discovering genuine love.

The Disappointing Factor

The narrative slowed down midway through the drama with more filler sequences and scenes which didn’t seem to make sense. The romance line progressed slowly, but the other stories were still well-paced.

In-depth Analysis

After her partner left her, a wedding planner lost faith in love. She eventually opens up to a male model after meeting him and finding love. He Daye (Tong Liya), a modern-day independent woman, is referred to as a “leftover girl” since she is still unmarried at her age. She refuses to make marital relationships her ultimate objective despite cultural pressures. She has instead opted to build up a successful career, because she feels that women should rely on themselves rather than on a guy.

Daye had gone down the aisle three years ago with her then-pilot lover Luo Chang (Wang Gongliang). However, he unexpectedly drags Daye away from their wedding! Luo Chang admits that he is not yet ready to marry. Daye forgives him, and the two reconcile peacefully.

He Daye and her ex-boyfriend remain friends, neither of them making the kove. Meanwhile, if Daye and Zhang Meng (Zhang Liang) hadn’t gotten off to a rough start, they would not have been friends. Zhang Meng, a failed model, may have reached a snag in his profession and personal life, but he is a talented guy who exudes an unmistakable feeling of security. Daye, torn between her ex and her new beau, learns to let go of her defenses to comprehend the true meaning of love.

Star Power

Despite the fact that the casting was not optimal for the storyline, the actors performed an outstanding job.
