Drama Digest
Li Cheng faces much oppression and pressure from various facets of his life. Starting from the notorious humans who turn out to be evil forces of the society, but also for his boss and the chief of the Public Security, all preventing him from being successful in doing his job of being a frontline police officer. He got framed and charged for something he never did, that caused much difficulties in his life. He again gained control of his life after seeking help from the Chinese Police commissioner and the Central Supervisor Group. Along with Lin Hao and He Yong, he embarks on a journey of bringing corrupt government officials to justice.
The Feel-Good Part
The best feel-good part about this series is the uniqueness and the freshness in the show’s history. Such a show is less made in the Chinese drama industry, which enhances the curiosity and interest of the audience. The main leads are also masters in acting and showing off their good works and the stories and they can entice the audience with their expressions alone. It takes instead a lonely way of showcasing the real struggle made to find the real culprit and to know the true reason behind all. The perseverance shown by the main characters in working for their goal regardless of anything is applaudable.
The Disappointing Factor
This drama is slow-paced and boring for some people, regardless of the enormous screen time. The scenes being crafted by the director could’ve been better with pleasant aesthetics, but here they lacked the most. With a great storyline, this plot lacked seasoning and precision in portraying the correct expressions onscreen. It is a bit too scary and triggering for people to enjoy and remember the show well, which is the major factor of the failure of giving it full closure. References of violence and political realities are provided, so it might not be favourable for viewers.
In-Depth Analysis
The suspense and thriller-filled drama are interesting and fun to watch. The concept of wrong framing, which causes wrong consequences to the person facing it all, is highlighted in the drama, which is refreshing and impactful to watch. The scary and true segment of the show is well balanced, with good scenes to witness. The mystery is no less than a classic thriller story. The show is underrated and has a lot of potential in it even after the first watch, the viewer would want more. The showcase of various cities and locations of China is also mesmerizing to watch

Li Cheng has a definite aim of exposing everything and taking revenge for all the scrutiny he had to face during his younger days. He went past all limits to find his share. He even took help from Lin Hao and He Yong to assist him in going past his goals and accomplishing them. Every corrupt practice happens because of a reason, a catalyst works in the mind of the person who does it, which causes it all. This series touches on this topic, making it unique and fresh. The other characters of the story considered him weak before who had qualities we do not know about.
Overall Opinion
This series is recommended for the characters and the script. It is a worthwhile watch for those who prefer to watch thriller fictional tales.
