Drama Digest

Tang Mo Mo is a colorblind aspirant fashion designer. She works diligently and is enthusiastic about her work. Ling Yao is a narcissistic man from a prosperous family who struggles to decide what to do with his life. He puts a lot of effort into a number of activities, but he still seems to lack direction in life. Due to a miscommunication, the two of them end themselves enemies, but later sparks erupt between them.

The Feel-Good Part

Since the male and female lead turn out to be enemies due to misunderstanding it is fun to watch them constantly bicker so it was comedic that way. It is nice to see the female lead as the brave and upfront character rather the ones who usually is portrayed as timid and not smart. The soundtrack used were pretty decent too.

The Disappointing Factor

It is surprising that viewers don’t find it monotonous to keep watching the same plot in this drama because it feels like any other drama. The stereotypical rich boy harassing the seemingly less fortunate girl who is once more being victimised by another wealthy girl. It makes no sense for the female lead to find the male lead appealing despite his destructive behaviour. On a whole there was hardly any effort put into the script.

In-Depth Analysis

Mo Mo is driven, diligent, and knows exactly what she wants to do with her life. Despite having coloblindness, she is determined and tries everything in her ability to perform at her best. Ling Yao is an affluent family’s abandoned child who seems to be lost in life. He is a spoiled narcissist who doesn’t always value the things around him. Despite being rough-tempered, he appears to have a soft spot for Mo Mo and later grows to like her. He determines what he wants to do with his life while doing this.

Star Power

Zeng Xue Yao as Tang Mo Mo and Yang Tao as Ling Yao did a good job playing the characters and had good chemistry.

Overall Opinion

A cliché light hearted romance comedy.
