Drama digest
The story revolves around two modern women who deal with unemployment and typical day-to-day struggles. Da Yu meets Xiao Yu, who has the same name and surname. Out of boredom, Xiao Yu quit her job, and coincidently, both of them started to live under the same roof. Da Yu followed Xiao Yu’s lead in trying new things when they were jobless. Xiao Yu also learns to plan new things under the influence of Da Yu. But once again, they decided to return to the workplace. Due to stringent requirements in the corporate world, Da Yu’s 30s hit a wall, and she must find a way to move forward. On the other hand, Xiao Yu learns to strive hard instead of taking things lightly, and she earned appreciation from her superior. Eventually, Da Yu and Xiao Yu found the meaning of life and worked through each other.
The feel-good part
The plot was very much convincing, and the happy moments were satisfying. The ost’s were refreshing, and the end song depicted the whole story. The drama’s charm was how it balanced everything. The characters were crafted with depth and simplicity. The drama had many touching points. The drama feels good with realistic problems the leads are trying to solve.
The disappointing factor
The editing and execution have a bit of problems; otherwise, it was a great drama. The characters also had minor flaws, but it was acceptable. For many of the viewers, it may irritate that the two female leads were all over the place.

The drama deserved much more attention. By the end of the drama, there was a good character development. The drama was full of emotions and beautiful memories. He Yu was kind-hearted. The male lead was also a refreshing character. At times, the characters are shallow and predictable, but then suddenly, they do something unexpected. The city os Shanghai, doesn’t give a break. The characters were like people in real life. They went through ups and downs, they made mistakes, they compromised, and they worked hard. It was relatable to real life. The storyline is straightforward and had a lot of potential. The drama also highlighted that working is not an prime important happiness. It showed how we could improve ourselves. The characters were drastically written. The story was about a phase that we might face someday. The drama was made funny, blunting the pain of reality, capturing the details, and eventually coming to terms with adulthood.

Every actor got a deserving personality. The actors did their best. Wen Peng pulled off her character very beautifully. The cast was top-notch. The female leads made a strong impression with mind-blowing performances.

It was a fantastic drama that will touch you in some or the other way. It is a straightforward story and has enough to pull you. The drama was a roller coaster with many memorable moments, ups and downs, and a satisfying ending.
