Biography: Anzu Haruno

Anzu Haruno (Haruno Anzu) is a Kanagawa Prefecture-based voice actress. She was born on 30th October 1994. She primarily works with “Arts Vision.” Anzu began her career as a voice actress in 2015. Later, in 2017, she received prominent roles in several Japanese movies and TV dramas. She is best known for voicing “Ramiris,” as a renowned voice actress. She attended the “Japanese Narration Acting Institute” while growing up in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Her interests include soccer, karaoke, singing, cooking, and music listening. Anzu Haruno began her acting career in 2015 when she was only 21. Soon after, she became more successful in her profession in a short period. She influenced people throughout her career and eventually gained fame. Anzu featured in various television anime, including “Love Live! Sunshine!! (2016), Momokuri (2016), Blend S (2017), Yuna and the Haunted Hot Springs (2018), Fruits Basket (2019), Tamayomi (2020), Sakura Wars the Animation (2020), and Farewell, My Dear Cramer (2021).” Her other shows include “Card fight!! Vanguard G: Next (2016), Clean Freak! Aoyama Kun (2017), Urara Meirocho (2017), Hensuki: Are You Willing to Fall in Love with a Pervert, as Long as She is a Cutie (2019), and Star Twinkle PreCure (2019).”

Anzu worked on “Fruits Basket,” also known as Furuba or Fruba, a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya. From 1998 to 2006, the manga series was converted into a Japanese shojo magazine. The manga series was converted into a Japanese shojo magazine published twice a month, called “Hana to Yume,” published by Hakusensha. The series title is derived from the name of a famous game played in Japanese elementary schools included in the series.

“Fruits Basket” centers around an orphan girl, Tohru Honda.” Tohru discovers that twelve members of the “Soma family” are possessed by the animals of the Chinese zodiac after meeting Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Soma. The members are cursed to transform into their animal forms. They transform when they are weak, stressed, or embraced by a non-possessed member of the opposite sex. Tohru learns of the hardships and pain endured by the oppressed members of the Soma family as the series progresses. She heals their emotional wounds through her own generous and loving nature. Tohru eventually discovers more about Yuki, Kyo, and the rest of the mysterious Soma family. Anzu worked as a brilliant voice actress in the manga series. Throughout the show, she conveyed the appropriate emotions with her voice.
