Boys over Flowers is a Japanese Shojo Manga series written and illustrated by Yoko Kamio. The story revolves around Makino Tsukushi, a tough, hardworking, and low-middle-class student at the prestigious school Eitoku Gakuen. Because of her social status, she can’t make any friends, and even worse, the school is run by F4, sons of Japan’s wealthiest and most potent tycoons who bully fellow friends out of boredom. Makino’s only wish is to stay invisible in the school; however, she gets involved in the lives of the four bullies. And in the way, Domyouji Tsukasa, (one of the F4 members) who is very violent, falls in love with Makino, but she has already fallen in love withHanazawa Rui. This drama will mainly show the courtship between Makino and Damyouji.

This story revolves around Sakura Nanase, a rookie nurse who met Doctor Tendo Kairi several years ago and fell in love. She studied hard to become a nurse so that she could meet him again, but she found out he had a totally different personality. He is commonly referred to as the ‘Devil’ at work. Alice in Borderland is a 2020 Japanese science fiction, thriller series based on the manga of the same name by HaroAso. The story is about Arishu Ryohei who is a jobless and video game-obsessed young man. Mischievous Kiss is a romantic comedy-drama. A high school student named Kotoko Aihara, who isn’t that smart falls in love with a pretty boy Naoki Irie. Unnatural is a 2018 medical mystery show. Mystery and exhilarating human drama unfold against the background of the ‘Unnatural death institute’ or ‘UDI’. Mikoto Misumi is a 33-year-old forensic doctor who gathered experience in dissecting 1500 bodies at the UDI Lab,. a fictional facility recently established by the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare. Along with her colleagues, she solves cases involving death arising from strange circumstances.

 

6. Mr. Hiiragi’s Homeroom

Hiiragi Ibuki is an Art teacher who has worked at his current school for 2 years. He is the home room teacher of the 3rd Grade A class. Ten days left for graduation, he gathers all 29 students of class 3A and proclaims them hostages. He starts his last lesson which will only end when someone tells him the reason behind a student who committed suicide a few months ago. But if any students give a wrong answer, they will die.

 

7. Good Morning Call

Good morning Call is a high school romantic comedy-drama. The story revolves around Yoshikawa Nao,who lives by herself. When she moves into her new apartment, she discovers that it is also rented to Uehara Hisashi, a super cool and popular boy from her school. The landlord of the apartment tells them that they have to pay more money for the apartment. Without home or money, they decided to share the apartment and become flatmates. Perfect Girl Evolution focuses on four boys, Takano Kyohei, Toyama Yukinojo, Oda Takenaga, and MoriiRanmaru, who live together in the same boarding house. One day, the owner of the house, Ms. Nakahara, says that she will give them free boarding and lodging if they can turn her niece, Sunako, into a beautiful lady. 9. The Hours Of My Life

The hours of my life is a romantic melodrama starring Haruma Miura, MikakoTabe, and Shunsuke Kazama. The story mainly focuses on Sawada Takuto, who is an ordinary university student who one day discovers that he has A.L.S- Lou Gehrig’s disease. He falls ill repeatedly, this disease makes him lose the ability to walk, but instead of swallowing in despair, he tries to live his life to the fullest along with his loved ones.

And the last on this list is Death note, a dark fantasy drama. This series is based on the manga series by the same name by Tsugumi Obata and Takeshi Obata.
