The Feel-Good Part
The voice acting is excellent, and the ending song, while being a typical techno beat, is quite enjoyable.
The Disappointing Factor
Overall, the quality seemed to be falling at random intervals; all of the cream pies were static and dull, the animation was excessively repetitive, and most scenes dragged on for far too long, as if they created 10 minutes of material and then extended it to 20. The conclusion was similarly unsatisfactory.
In-Depth Analysis
Taimanin Shiranui begins with a recap of the Taimanin Yukikaze box-set special, which looked utterly fucking terrible, which isn’t the best way to start the show. Following the recap, we see Yukikaze’s severed body, with her mother, Shiranui, standing over it, covered in blood. Shiranui is then informed that she would be rewarded for her excellent performance, which happens to be around 18 minutes of commercial sex. The rest of the episode is nothing but sex and more sex, serving mainly to remind us that the “Under Eden” brothel is evil.
Star Power
Shiranui was stunning, even if her cup size was a little odd and uneven, but I can understand how difficult it is to animate something so large. I missed the demons and tentacles since the men were all ordinary, unpleasant, unattractive middle-aged thugs.
Overall Opinion
Overall, it’s less of a disappointment knowing that this was intended to be the Taimanin Yukikaze game’s tenth anniversary celebration. Even so, if you just like to see more of Shiranui, it’s well worth a try.
