Adapted from the manga series of the same name, it takes you into a fantastical world where humans are nearly non-existent and spirits rule the world.

In this scenario, a chance encounter between a golem and a timid girl in the forest and chain of events unfold.

The golem is the watchperson of the forest and Somali, the little girl loses her way and ends up in the forest. She wears a hood to hide her human features as humans are a delicacy in the forest.

When the golem meets Somali, his protective instincts as a father comes to play and he makes it his sole aim to ensure Somali lives. But he has less time as he has another year to live.

Before he dies, he has to find other humans who can take care of her and she can be with her race.
