Suzune Miyama, a young woman from north Kanto who had just returned from the hospital, and Rena Hananoi, the younger sister of the first season’s victor, Akari Amasawa, who had perished in a truck accident three years earlier, are among them.
Fearing that his global power is eroding, England appeals to other nations for help in restoring his country’s image. Smaller nations, on the other hand, are keen to stamp their independence on the world. Czechoslovakia has been legally divided into the Czech Republic and Slovakia, leaving the two countries at odds but with plenty of spare time.

A few of the project’s tracks rank among the greatest of the year. Since it is Doga Kobo, the art is excellent overall, and the animation during performances is powerful. Suzune Miyama has spent most of her youth bedridden due to a weak heart. She had always wished to become a celebrity, despite her sickness. The seventh Selection Project, a grueling series of contests best known as the origin of famous idol Akari Amasawa, presents her with her chance eventually.
Suzune participates in the Selection Project’s initial round, nervous but enthusiastic. Although Suzune’s singing impresses the judges and her fellow contestants, she regrettably freezes up in the middle of her performance due to nervousness. She bounces back swiftly, but the misstep costs her the victory ,and she is eliminated. That happens until the girl Suzune lost to says she’s quitting the Selection Project because she thinks Suzune is a better singer and should be allowed to participate. The choice surprises Suzune, but she assures Seira that they will reunite as leading idols. She gets ready for the complex challenges that lay ahead.

All the voice actors have done a great job in the anime. This anime has a variety of people as voice actors with some already working in plenty of famous animes and others being idols themselves.
Overall Opinion
Although it might not be entirely innovative, Selection Project is a must-see for any enthusiast of the idol genre. This anime features endearing characters, an emotional plot, and excellent acting. Although the story is not innovative, it makes for a decent watch.
